On Tuesday, March 19, 2024, the Coverity on Polaris SaaS production systems will be upgraded to Coverity on Polaris version 2023.12.1 during a scheduled maintenance window of 6pm to 8pm Eastern Time. No disruptions are expected to scans. If any scans are interrupted, they will be automatically restarted.
What's new?
Support for Coverity version 2023.12.2
- Updates related to C# caching issues which were causing can failures
- Note related to recommended versions: Coverity 2023.12.1 will remain as the recommended version. Customers who did not experience any scan issues do not need to update to Coverity 2023.12.2.
- Note related to Coverity 2023.12.x upgrade and CLI: If you upgrade to Coverity 2023.12.x, you must upgrade to Polaris CLI version 2023.12.0 (not optional). Otherwise, using an older Polaris CLI version with Coverity 2023.12.x will result in capture failed errors.
- Note related to ARM support with Jenkins plugin: Customers running on ARM and using the Jenkins will see scan failures if upgrading to Coverity 2023.12.x. Customers with this setup should wait to upgrade to Coverity 2023.12.x until the Jenkins plug-in gets updated in the upcoming weeks. The ADO plugin has already been updated.
